Our Awesome Team
There's a huge amount of work behind the scenes of Sim-UK. Three admins and 13 moderators work around the clock to keep the busy website and forum running smoothly.
Technically, running the website is a nightmare. With our website getting over a million visits per day and at peak over 7,000 downloads per hour, we need a fair bit of computing power - about 20 times the power of an average desktop computer. And we serve enough downloads per day to fill a 1000gb hard drive.
And then we have over 100,000 members to keep happy - our team of moderators does a fantastic job of that. But do you ever wonder what these people actually do when they're not on Sim-UK? Well you're about to find out..

OliiCofounder and Website ManagerI'm Oliver, though I like Olii over the web. I currently live in Devon and always have done. Later this year I shall be going to an agricultural college doing a Level 3 Extended Diploma. In my free time I'm either helping on a neighbouring farm or sat infront of the computer creating 3D models. I'm keeping my options open for the future, though I'm looking forward to it! |

RussCofounder and Server AdminI'm Russell, but I prefer "Russ". I live in Cambridge, UK. I grew up in the countryside and spent my early teenage years working on a farm. I helped Olii start LS-UK back in April 2009, and for the past few years I've been a web developer. Now I'm back at college to study for a level 3 Extended Diploma in Agriculture and I'm also an apprentice on a 4,000 acre arable farm, growing a mix of potatoes, leaks, celery, sugarbeet, OSR and wheat. My ambition in life is to become some kind of farm manager. But generally my ethos is to be happy, healthy and enjoy life and the countryside.. and my motorbikes :) |

WizznallModeratorHi their I am Wayne but i like wizznall better. I am a coastal boy at heart as I was born at Caloundra Queensland Australia in 1975. I lived their for 19 years then moved to Mundubberra Queensland. Mundubberra is 30 minutes south west of gayndah the citrus capital of Queensland. Anyhow in Mundubberra I worked on a Orchard farm that grew Mangoes and all types of citrus. I was the irrigation manager, Packing shed manager and leading hand for the spray equipment. I worked there for 7 years and I do miss the farm life as i had many great times working with all sorts of characters from around the world that would come to do fruit picking. Then i moved to Emerald Queensland to work on a Citrus farm But it wasn't like the good old days like at Mundubberra so I changed jobs and went to work for Toyota in Ememerald. Worked at toyota for about 4 and a half years worked my way up to be Predelivery manager and the best part was that I met my Kayleen (Kaznall) their and have been together for 7 years now. After Toyota I am at my job now at Opposite Lock emerald exhaust and suspention and have not looked back. Well maybe A bit when i play FS11 when i remember the good old farming days. Kaznall and myself don't have kids as i am a big kid most of the time as when i walk into a toy shop I morph into a 12year old kid because man kids have great toys now days. We have many animals at home 2 dogs 3 cats and 2 birds. As we are big animal lovers. My intrestes are anything to do with gaming PC ps3, cars, LEGO, anything techy. |

will2103ModeratorHi All, I'm Will aka will2013, I recently moved back in with my olds for a few months in a little village called Lullington in South Derbyshire. This is where I grew up and have spent 24 of the last 25 years!! I have been passionate about farming since I was a very small lad and grew up over the road from the farm that my god father owns. I spent most of my younger life there including working there throughout my teens. When I left school I took the decision to try and make myself a career and am currently the European Supply Chain Operations Manager for the world's largest Mobile Phone insurer.....very boring stuff but it pays the bills. I have never lost my passion for farming though and was made up when I discovered FS about a year ago and so this site. My interests are quite varied and include having a beer with the lads (quite a lot), I'm keen in to mountain biking (trail riding and cross country mainly) and motorsport! I go to Le Mans every year to watch the 24hr race. I hope to get back in to Farming some day one way or another! |

KnuuudModeratorI'm Knut A (known mostly as Knuuud on LS-UK) I'm a student ATM in a small city in the eastern part of Norway where I study to be a car technician (upgrade from car mechanic). I was supposed to inherit the farm where I come from in the western part of Norway (steep hills and mountains) but I passed it on to my sister as she needed something to do and I'd rather work with car and machine repairs. As I know am not going to be a real life farmer I play this game and I love creating stuff/making old stuff work (with approval from the original creators of course). I also make signature images just for fun as a small side hobby. To make time go I also help farmers and truckers around here with small repairs on their equipment. Well not much more to say.. Happy farming all! |

Random HeroModeratorI'm Rasmus, also know as 'Random Hero', Drazul and Kattebakke (wich means 'litterbox' in danish). Born on a in Denmark back in 1985. I'm from Jutland, the big part of Denmark that are geologically linked to germany, near the town called Silkeborg. If you ever get nearby just drop in ;) Got the diploma as a certified electrician back in 2007 but wanted to try something new so since 2007 i have worked as a firefigther, farmer on my dads farm, working for a contractor and now i'm making motorways; diggin' holes and movin' some dirt. I'm a huge IH fan (as some of you may have noticed) and one of my biggest passions is older/vintage tractors. I prefer McCormick/Farmall/International Harvester, but any tractor build before 1985 is my type of tractor. I do random stupid stuff and i have been a firefigther. That why my nick is Random Hero. |

CollieModeratorI'm Rory, Better known as Roz (back in the day...) and more recently Collie (for antics up to and including rolling in the mud, and managing to become completely black and white whilst servicing a machine), I live in sunny (currently) South Devon and my intrests are drinking and well, er making money...... To do this I have done everything from run tractors and toppers to driving 12m telehandlers in sheds moving rubbish. I am currently a freelance plant operator and next year (2012) I will hopefully be driving on earthshifts in time for the end of the world. But staring down holes is my life atm..... |

07lthorneModeratorI'm Luke, I live just outside a town in Wiltshire called Salisbury, probably most known for Stonehenge, Salisbury Catherdral and Salisbury Plain. I was born on the 1st September 1995 making me the youngest of the staff. I enjoy shooting, football and a spot of photography when I have the time, and just larking about with mates. And when at home I spend most of my time on my computer or xbox. I have my trusty springer spaniel Olli who so full of energy but so playful and faithful and keeps me company when I'm at home. That's just about me really. I'm currently in my last year at school finishing off my final GCSE's then either college to study level 3 agriculture or carry on at school and do 6th form. I was brought up around the farm and farm life but sadly my dad no longer is part of it anymore, so I plan to work on a larger farm when I'm older and work myself up from there. |
